This piece is part of the NH1970 Collection which was heavily inspired by travels to Mexico and California. The idea behind this collection was to create fun and very modular pieces that could adapt to any occasion and highlight the femininity and subtle humour of the modern woman.
The "Soc" pins (pronounced "sosh") were worn by socialites in the 1920s to denote their place in society. The modern version of these pins in the collection are timeless yet fashion forward. Nouvel Heritage developed a unique and innovative back system to offer the best modularity, the pin can be worn as a brooch, single earring, worn as a pendant or styled on the choker.
The Venice Beach Soc Pin is made of 18K yellow gold, and circled by a mix of spessartine and sapphire. The palm trees are cut out to show the onyx gemstone in see-through.
